- Adrenaline dose is 1 mg 1:10000 after/at 3rd Shock in Shockable Arrests and immediately in Non-Shockable Arrests.
- Amiodarone 300 mg after 3rd Shock & 150 mg after 5th Shock
- Opiates Toxicity: Naloxone 400 mcg IV (800 mcg IM or 2 mg IN). Repeat in 2 minutes. Infusion is 100-400 mcg/hr
- TCA: Use NaHCO3 50 ml of 8.4% if Hypotension (resistant). Wide QRS, Arrhythmia, Seizures, Acidosis
- Cocaine: Benzodiazepines, Nitrates, Ca Ch. Blockers, Phentolamine
- Hypothermic Arrest:
- Confirm for signs of Life for 1 minute
- If VE/VT: 3 shocks, then CPR, then no shocks until > 30 C.
- No drugs until > 30 C, then double the interval as compared to normothermic arrest until 35 C.
